MoU Signing and Industry Interaction Session with Ascox Technosoft Solution Pvt. Ltd.

On behalf of the DAWN Association, the Department of MCA, Francis Xavier Engineering College, Tirunelveli, successfully organized the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ascox Technosoft Solution Pvt. Ltd., Madurai, on 13th August 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

This MoU marks a significant step in strengthening collaboration between academia and industry, with the objective of equipping MCA students with advanced technical knowledge, professional grooming, and employability skills.

Interactive Session Highlights

As part of the MoU proceedings, an interactive session was conducted by Ms. Shalini, Senior Software Developer, Ascox Technosoft Solution Pvt. Ltd. She conducted an Aptitude Assessment for the students, serving as a benchmark to evaluate their analytical and problem-solving skills—key areas essential for placement preparation.

Ms. Shalini also shared valuable tips on:

  • Self-grooming
  • Professional etiquette
  • LinkedIn profile enhancement

Emphasizing the importance of personal branding and networking in today’s competitive job market.

Event Coordination

The entire event was effectively organized under the guidance of Mrs. D. Angeline Ranjithamani, Assistant Professor & Head of the Department of MCA, as part of the course 24CA3702 – Agile Software Development.

Outcome and Impact

The integration of this industry session into the curriculum provided students with a practical extension of their classroom learning, aligning technical knowledge with career-readiness initiatives.

Student feedback indicated the session was highly impactful and engaging, with many students requesting more such programs regularly to improve their aptitude, soft skills, and industry readiness.
