On 01.09.2025 a session was organized on the title “Shaping the Future: Engineers as Job Creators” by the Institution Innovation Council in association with Entrepreneurship Development Cell and Electronics and Communication Engineering department. This event was coordinated by Dr. Pradeep T Rajan, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE, Francis Xavier Engineering College.
The speaker emphasized why entrepreneurship should be considered a vital alternative to conventional job-seeking. He explained that while jobs provide stability, entrepreneurship creates opportunities that extend beyond individual benefit to society at large by generating employment, driving innovation, and addressing real-world challenges. A powerful takeaway was that capital is not the foundation of entrepreneurship; rather, an innovative idea, vision, and determination form the true starting point of any successful startup.
