An Alumni Interaction Session on “Ethics, Discipline & Long-Term Vision in Business and The Entrepreneur’s Mindset” was organized on 12.01.2026 by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC through offline mode in association with the Department of Management Studies, FXEC. The one-hour programme was handled by Mr. Gandhi Kannan S, Entrepreneur, MD – GK Enterprises and GM – Venkateswara Groups, an alumni entrepreneur of FXDOMS (Batch 2023–2025). A total of 48 students and 1 faculty member participated in the session. The objective of the interaction was to create awareness among students about the importance of ethics and discipline in business practices and to instill a long-term vision and responsible mindset essential for entrepreneurial success.
During the session, the resource person shared real-life entrepreneurial challenges that motivated students to think responsibly and cultivate the right mindset for professional growth. He illustrated the role of ethics and discipline through examples such as the Tata Group and Infosys, explaining how consistent ethical practices, transparency, and long-term value creation enabled these organizations to build strong brand credibility and achieve sustained growth. The interaction concluded with a powerful message emphasizing that ethical values, disciplined work culture, and long-term vision are indispensable for entrepreneurial success. As an outcome, students developed greater awareness of sustainable business practices, gained confidence in adopting a responsible entrepreneurial approach, and were encouraged to align their personal and professional goals with strong ethical principles.
