The Department of MCA conducted a two-day Faculty Development Programme titled “DeepTech for Sustainable Development” on 16th and 17th July 2025 at the MCA Lab. The programme was designed to enhance faculty members' understanding of emerging technologies and their role in promoting sustainable development. The event commenced with an invocation of gratitude to the Almighty, followed by a cordial welcome to the Heads of various Departments. The Chief Guest was formally honored during the inaugural session. The department also extended its heartfelt appreciation to the Management for their unwavering support and acknowledged the efforts of the Head of the Department, Mrs. Angeline Ranjithamani, Assistant Professor, for her exceptional leadership in organizing the event.
The keynote speaker for the programme was Mr. Solomon Ashok, Founder of Kazh.com FinTech and Co-founder of Axlerate FinTech, who delivered an insightful address on the role of DeepTech in the FinTech sector and its impact on driving sustainable innovation. He shared comprehensive knowledge on topics such as Blockchain, Bitcoin, investment strategies in stocks, and technology-driven financial solutions. Additionally, a hands-on training session was conducted, providing participants with an engaging and practical learning experience.
