Guest Lecture

The Department of MCA, Francis Xavier Engineering College, organized a Guest Lecture as part of the Agile Software Development Course titled “Placement Power-Up: Secrets to Landing Your Dream Job” on 7th October 2025 at the MCA Staff Room from 11.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. The session was delivered by Mr. Kalaivanan, Product Engineer, Arbor, who shared valuable insights into the essential skills and strategies required to succeed in placement drives. He discussed practical aspects of the placement process, including Resume Assessment, Interview Preparation, Technical Round Strategies, and the important Dos and Don’ts during interviews. The webinar motivated the students to enhance their technical and communication skills while understanding employer expectations. It also provided actionable tips to boost their confidence and readiness for recruitment. Overall, the session proved to be highly interactive, informative, and inspiring, equipping students with the right mindset and techniques to achieve their dream jobs.
