The Department of MCA organized a guest lecture on "Introduction to Machine Learning and its Real-World Applications" on 26th August 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at MCA LAB. The guest speaker for the session was Dr. Stella Janci Rani, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, Sarah Tucker College. The objective of the session was to introduce students to the fundamentals of Machine Learning and highlight its growing importance in today’s technology-driven world.
During the lecture, Dr. Stella Janci Rani explained key concepts such as supervised and unsupervised learning, classification algorithms, and real-time applications in sectors like healthcare, e-commerce, and finance. The session was interactive, with students showing great interest and engaging in a lively Q&A session at the end. The lecture proved to be highly informative and beneficial, enriching the students’ knowledge and encouraging them to explore further in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
