The Department of Management Studies (FX DOMS) organized an enlightening Guest Lecture on 29th September 2025, featuring Dr. Bibiana Lim, Head of the Learning and Teaching Unit and Associate Professor at Swinburne University of Technology, Malaysia. The session focused on the theme “The SDGs: A Strategic Compass for Global Business, Society, and Policy.”
Dr. Lim highlighted the critical role of ethical leadership, sustainable innovation, and global citizenship in today’s business environment. She also emphasized the need to integrate sustainability into management education, encouraging students to become future leaders who drive meaningful societal change. The lecture offered participants a comprehensive understanding of how SDGs can align corporate objectives with broader global challenges such as climate change, inequality, and economic development. The event was organized with the active support of the Finance Club under the Department of Management Studies. It concluded with an interactive Q&A session where students shared their perspectives and expressed their appreciation for the valuable insights shared by Dr. Lim.
