Guest Lecture Report

Our Department of MCA organized a guest lecture for I MCA students on 10th October 2025. Mr. Kathirvel Prakash, WordPress Developer, Mandy Technology, Coimbatore, delivered an insightful lecture on the Importance of Placement through Campus. The resource person began the session by explaining the significance of campus placements for students, emphasizing how early preparation and awareness can shape career opportunities. He elaborated on the essential skills and knowledge expected by recruiters, highlighting the importance of technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication.

Mr. Kathirvel Prakash provided practical guidance on enhancing employability, including mastering programming concepts, developing logical reasoning, and practicing coding problems consistently. He recommended platforms such as LeetCode for improving problem-solving skills, which are crucial during placement drives. The session also covered strategies for preparing for interviews, group discussions, and aptitude tests, reinforcing the importance of consistent practice and self-assessment. Students were encouraged to participate in mock tests and peer-learning activities to boost confidence and readiness for campus recruitment.

The lecture concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where students enthusiastically asked questions regarding placements, preparation strategies, and career guidance. The resource person addressed all queries with clarity and provided additional insights, making the session highly informative and motivating for the students.
