The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) organized an HR Conclave in collaboration with ICT Academy and Umagine TN on 07 January 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, for the benefit of ECE students. The objective of the conclave was to bridge the gap between academia and industry by providing students with insights into current industrial practices, emerging technologies, and future career prospects.
The conclave featured eminent industry professionals Mr. Sakthi Babu and Mr. Jayaraj Alagarsamy, Technical Managers from HCL Technologies, who delivered expert talks on the theme “Idea Worth Sharing & Future Worth Building.” The programme was effectively coordinated by Dr. B. Pradheep T. Rajan, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE.
The programme commenced with a Prayer Song rendered by the ECE Choir Team, invoking divine blessings for the successful conduct of the event. This was followed by a Welcome Address delivered by a final-year ECE student. The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. L. R. Priya, Head of the Department, ECE, who emphasized the importance of industry–academia collaboration in enhancing students’ employability skills. The dignitaries were formally honoured with mementoes and shawls in recognition of their valuable presence.
The resource persons delivered comprehensive and insightful sessions highlighting the significance of innovation, idea-driven development, and future-oriented skills required in the evolving technological landscape. The speakers elaborated on industry expectations, professional competencies, and the role of emerging technologies in shaping sustainable careers.
