On October 8th, 2025, the Department of MCA organized an enriching industrial visit to UST Global, Trivandrum. UST Global, renowned for its excellence in fully managed software development and data preparation, offered a valuable learning experience for 54 students accompanied by two faculty members Dr. J. Anciline Jenifer, AP/MCA, and Mrs. K. Dhamayanthi, AP/MCA. The visit was coordinated under the guidance of Mrs. D. Angeline Ranjithamani, Head of the Department.The team reached UST Global at 9:30 AM, where they were captivated by the company’s innovative workspace and vibrant employee culture. The program began with a warm welcome and an orientation session conducted by Mr. Monish and the UST Global team. The presentation introduced the company’s history, core areas of expertise, and its vision for digital transformation. Students also learned about ongoing projects, gaining valuable insights into real-world technological applications. Following the session, the participants were given a guided tour of the facility. They were impressed by the modern infrastructure and advanced technologies that empower UST Global to deliver world-class solutions to clients worldwide. The group observed various departments in operation, including software development, testing, and data analytics. A key highlight of the visit was an interactive Q&A session with senior professionals, who shared their personal career experiences and provided guidance on the skills and attributes essential for success in the IT industry. The students actively participated, asking insightful questions and receiving practical advice for their future careers.Overall, the industrial visit proved to be a highly rewarding and inspirational experience. It offered students a deeper understanding of how IT companies operate and what is expected of professionals in this dynamic field. Both faculty and students returned with renewed enthusiasm and motivation to pursue their career goals in the ever-evolving world of technology.
