LEADER OF THE MONTH

Francis Xavier Department of Management Studies hosted a thought-provoking event on the title “Leader of the Month” on July 21, 2025. This event was organised by Second-year MBA Marketing Club (Team 3). Mrs. Kavitha Nair Viswambharan., Deputy General Manager Hutson Agro Product Ltd, Chennai was the Leader of this Month. Her vast industry experience and practical insights provided students with valuable exposure to real-world HR practices and professional development strategies.

Mrs. Kavitha explained about the various departments under HR and how the corporate companies follow it. The learning and development department was focused on how they identify the skill gap among the employees and how the training is provided to the employee. Students were introduced to various career roles in HR like Talent Acquisition, L&D, Payroll Management, Employee Engagement. Mrs. Kavitha shared personal anecdotes about her professional journey, highlighting the skills and mindset needed to succeed in a competitive job market. Students participated in a Q&A Session for skill enhancement in today’s career landscape. Activities were conducted to make the session more interactive. The event was concluded with the vote of thanks by Ms. Madhumalar Jeswina.J II MBA.
