To bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world financial practices, the Department of Management Studies organized a Skill Training Program on “Stock Market Trading Using Technical Analysis.” The session aimed to equip students with practical insights into stock market operations, trading strategies, and data-driven decision-making. The training was facilitated by Mr. M. Jeyaprakash, Director, MCube Academy, a renowned expert in financial education and market analytics. During the session, Mr. Jeyaprakash provided an in-depth understanding of technical analysis tools, including chart patterns, candlestick analysis, moving averages, and relative strength indicators.
Through live trading demonstrations and interactive discussions, participants gained first-hand experience in analyzing market trends, understanding price movements, and interpreting key trading indicators. The hands-on approach enabled students to correlate theoretical concepts with real-time financial data, fostering analytical thinking and practical decision-making skills.
The program not only deepened students’ knowledge of financial markets but also enhanced their confidence to engage in informed investment and trading decisions. It served as a valuable platform for developing critical skills required in the finance and investment sector, aligning with the department’s objective of promoting experiential learning and industry readiness. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students clarified their doubts and received expert advice on building careers in financial analysis and trading. The event was Coordinated by Dr. Annie Rose Nirmala, HOD/MBA.
