The students are trained in areas such as Group Discussion Presentation, Interview Techniques so as to help them present themselves with their counter parts word wide. The utmost importance is given to help them develop the four basic skills –LSRW, which is Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. This Lab would certainly help the students to improve their proficiency in the language.
OBJECTIVES:
OUTCOMES:
Learners should be able to speak clearly, confidently, comprehensibly, and communicate with one or many listeners using appropriate communicative strategies.
Laboratory work has been given a central and distinctive role in the chemistry education. As the technology rests on the firm foundation of science, chemistry is an excellent way to help technical students to understand the relationship between science and technology. Experimental work plays a very important role in it.
Chemistry lab accommodates the objective of better understanding of syllabus of Istyear
B.E., and B.Tech and absorbs the theory along with implementing it practically. Engineering chemistry lab incorporates the experiments which involves the volumetric estimation of chemicals and determination of various properties of water samples like viscosity and hardness. These also include the experiment related to the chemical kinetics and molecular weight of polymer. This lab comprises of the instrument like pH meter, flame photometer, spectrophotometer etc., along with the other relevant glass wares, reagents and materials to studied. Chemistry lab can presently entertain 30 students working at the same time in a session. Students experiment in group of two to learn team work and help each other for the same. The titrations are conducted individually by the student.

COURSE OUTCOME
Chemistry lab accommodates the objective of better understanding of syllabus of Istyear
Excellent experimental facilities are offered in Chemistry Laboratory.
Laboratory work has been given a central and distinctive role in the Physics education. As the technology rests on the firm foundation of science, Physics is an excellent way to help technical students to understand the relationship between science and technology. Experimental work plays a very important role in it. .Physics lab accommodates the objective of better understanding of syllabus of Iyear B.E., and B.Tech and absorbs the theory along with implementing it practically. Engineering Physics lab incorporates the experiments which involves to introduce different experiments to test basic understanding of physics concepts applied in optics, thermal physics and properties of matter. This lab comprises of the instrument like Ultrasonic interferometer, Spectrometer, Lee‟s Disc set up, Traveling microscope, Band gap experimental set up, Air-wedge experimental set up, Burette, Capillary tube, Carey foster’s bridge set up Torsion pendulum set up, Diode laser & optical fiber by using this readings are measured. Physics lab can presently entertain 30 students working at the same time in a session. Students experiment in group of two to learn team work and help each other for the same.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
To introduce different experiments to test basic understanding of physics concepts applied in optics, thermal physics and properties of matter.
COURSE OUTCOMES
The Physics laboratory meets the needs of the first year students of various branches of engineering as per Anna University curriculum. Here the students are very well trained to get the clear exposure.
Engineering graphics is the graphical language of Engineers. It is a graphical representation of thinking and planning of ideas in a systematic manner. It is an indispensable tool in an engineer’s occupation. It helps them to communicate their thoughts and ideas graphically in a neat fashion. The preliminary step in the design of almost any component manufactured in an industry, involves drafting on paper. This is because of the fact that. Drawings and sketches help to improve the design and feasibility of the manufacturing components. It is important for an engineering student to practice Engineering drawing in order to be a successful Engineer.
OBJECTIVES:
To develop in students, graphic skills for communication of concepts, ideas and design of
Engineering products.
To expose them to existing national standards related to technical drawings
OUTCOMES:
On Completion of the course the student will be able to
perform free hand sketching of basic geometrical constructions and multiple views of
objects.
do orthographic projection of lines and plane surfaces.
draw projections and solids and development of surfaces
prepare isometric and perspective sections of simple solids.
demonstrate computer aided drafting.
Well trained to enhance their practical skills and are provided 'hand on' experiences with sophisticated instrument.
