SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS
Social Outreach is the underlying fabric of SCAD Group of Institutions and Francis Xavier Engineering College is no exception. The Students are encouraged to volunteer and participate in the various Social Outreach Programs of SCAD (Social Change and Development), a not for profit organization founded in the year 1985 by Dr. Cletus Babu with the mission to empower the poor. SCAD is a pioneering non-government organization in the southern districts of Tamilnadu. It has expanded to serve over 5,00,000 people in the three southern districts of Tamil Nadu - Tirunelveli, Tuticorin and Kanyakumari.
