Training On Java Script and jQuery

Java Script is an interpreted programming language, whereas jQuery is a library with APIs built for JavaScript. jQuery simplifies the use of the Java Script language. To impart the knowledge on Java Script and Jquery, FXEC Programming and Coding Lab organized the special initiative skill training on the topic “Java Script and jQuery” for the III Year Students. The training programme was organized for four days from 27th February 2023 to 02nd March 2023 under the skill code SK_AL_0034. A total of 36 Students from the Programming and Coding Lab attended the training. The students were trained on the topics: Java Script Function, arrow function, JS Arrays, JS Array Methods, JS Objects, JS Events, JS Classes, JS Sets, JS Maps, JS Json, the spread operator, Function Rest Parameter, JS Async - JS Callbacks, JS Asynchronous, JS Promises, JS Async/Await, JS HTML DOM, JS Web APIs and Local Storage, jQuery Introduction, jQuery Selector, jQuery Events, jQuery Effects, jQuery Html. At the end of every day, students submitted a mini project as their assignment. At the end of the first day, students submitted an individual assignment program on the topic “Cricket Match Winning Prediction”. At the end of the second day, the students submitted the assignment program on the topic “Bank Loan Interest Calculator” and at the end of the third day students submitted the assignment program on the topic “Chit Calculator”. On the final day, students submitted their individual project. The programme was coordinated by Dr. E. Manohar under the guidance of Dr. K. Lakshmi Narayanan, Applied Lab Vertical Head and Mr. S. Krishna Kumar, Director, Applied Labs.
