Workshop on enabling students on Knowledge Economy

The knowledge economy provides new opportunities and ways to make money for entrepreneurs. On 19th October 2022, a workshop on “Enabling Yourselves on the Knowledge Economy” was conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with the Computer Society of India for the students of CSE, CSBS and MBA department. Mr. Ranjith Kumar, CEO, Bevywise Networks, Bengaluru was the resource person. Dr. G. Aravind Swaminathan, HOD/CSE welcomed and introduced the resource person. The resource person stated that the students must inculcate reading habits to start mastering the concepts of technology and its advancements. He explained in detail that technology trends features of connec-tivity, distributed infrastruc-ture, next generation com-puting, applied AI and future programming, 5G, block chain, Web 3.0, IOT and Metaverse. Inputs were giv-en on Startup TN, TANSEED and about venture capital. Dr. G. Aravind Swaminathan, HOD/CSE, proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was arranged by Dr. Dr.A.Thiruchelvi, AP/CSE and coordinated by Dr. E. Manohar, Prof. CSE. The workshop was really an eye-opener for the students to know about the recent trends of technology and keep themselves updated.
