Workshop on skills and opportunities in Finance and Banking

The Department of Management Studies organized a one day workshop on skills and opportunities in finance and banking. Mr M. Jeyaprakash NSE- NISM Approved Trainer was the guest speaker for the session. The resource person highlighted that the Finance field today is bursting with great earning potential and rewarding career options in a wide range of industries. He explained that it has seen a large growth and it is a promising field for career advancement. He further added that carving out a long-term career strategy in the Finance Industry is not as easy as entering it and the finance industry is a world by itself and offers a number of options.

It is essential for students to be aware of various career options in finance to make the right choice. At the end of the event, certificates were distributed to the students. This one-day workshop helped the students to have insights about choosing the better career option after their graduation. Students from various colleges in and around Tirunelveli participated in this event.
