The Symposium was inaugurated around 9.30 a,m by Ms. Selvalakshmi Paramanayagam Pillai, Associate Consultant, Atos Syntel Pvt. Ltd., Siruseri, 2013 Batch Alumni. Mr.Jeevanantham.J of pre final year MCA welcomed the gathering. Our honorable Principal Dr. D.C. Joy Winnie Wise, preside over the function. The dignitaries on the dais and the Student Secretary and Treasurer Mr. Siddharth.B and Ms. Suganna lighten the lamp. Chief Guest was introduced proudly by Mrs.D. Angeline Ranjithamani, HOD / MCA. Our respectable Principal honored the chief guest with a memento.
The respected chief guest shared about her experience in Francis Xavier Engineering College and highlighted her carrier experience in her chief guest address. Head of the Department Mrs.D. Angeline Ranjithamani, coordinated the program in a grand manner.. Mr. Bala Sankara Subramanian of II MCA delivered the vote of thanks.
More than 400 students from nearly 20 Arts & Science colleges and Engineering Colleges participated in Technical Events (Paper presentation, Quiz, Software Marketing, Debugging, Web Design) and Non-Technical Events (Mehandi, Cookery, Art from Waste, Short film, Online Event) The Prelims for Technical Events was conducted in MCA Classrooms and Lab. The non technical events are conducted both in Third floor of MCA Block and in Auditorium. The participants were provided with a delicious lunch. The events Quiz, Film Fest, Software Marketing, Cookery and online event were conducted in the Auditorium. The valedictory function was held around 4.00 p.m in Francis Xavier Engineering College Auditorium. Our Chief Guest headed the Valedictory function and Ms. Mano Jesintha of final year MCA welcomed the gathering and Ms. Mary Jessica proposed the vote of thanks. The winners are honored by the Chief Guest. The overall Shield for Technical Events won by the students of Sadakathulla Appa College, Tirunelveli and overall shield for Non-Technical Events was won by students of Popes College, Sawyerpuram. Best Performer College was won by Nazareth Margochious College, Tuticorin. All staff of MCA Department and the students led the function to meet its target The symposium ended grandly with the national anthem.
