The DAWN Association and SIM’22 was inaugurated at 9.30 a,m by Mr. Venkatesh. R (Alumni 2016 batch), System Engineer, Tata Consultancy Services, Chennai. Ms. F. Mary Jessica of Final year MCA welcomed the gathering. The Chief Guest was introduced by Ms. BrindhaSugirtha Mani J of First year MCA. Our honorable Principal presided over the function and delivered the presidential address honored the chief guest with a memento. The Achievements of the DAWN’21 was proudly presented by the Secretary of DAWN Association Mr. Muthukumar C. He had highlighted all the guest lectures, training, conference, FDP, placement specific training that has been carried out in the department of Computer Applications. Office bearers of DAWN Association was highlighted by Mrs. D. Angeline Ranjithamani, AP & HOD, MCA. The chief guest highlighted the placement opportunities shared about his experience in Francis Xavier Engineering College. Mr. P Veerapandi delivered the vote of thanks. Nearly 300+ students from 10 + Arts & Science colleges and Engineering Colleges participated in Technical Events (Poster presentation, Quiz, Software Marketing, Debugging, Web Design) and Non-Technical Events (Mehandi, Photography, Art from Waste and As you like it). The overall trophy was won by the students of Sarah Tucker College, Tirunelveli and runner trophy was won by SadakathullahAppa College, Tirunelveli.
