18th National Level Technical Symposium- Elektrakan-2k22

08th Nov 2022, the National level technical symposium "ELEKTRAKAN-2K22' was hosted by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Francis Xavier Engineering College, Tirunelveli. Mr.N.Vasantha Prabhu, General Manager-Operations, Nova Carbon Pvt. ltd, Tirunelveli was the chief guest of the function. Dr. V. Velmurugan, Principal Francis Xavier Engineering College and Dr. Lourdes Poobala Rayen, Professor of Entrepreneurship, felicitated the gathering. The chief guest shared wonderful words of encouragement with the students quoting the need to invest in improving the practical know-how of every engineering apart from the theoretical knowledge they gain in the course of their study and insisted upon students' interaction with industry. Around 180 students in 9 events tested their wits and abilities. The following are the events list and its winners list that was organized as part of the symposium: Paper presentation won by Purna Ruksuma, Indhu Bharathi, Arumugam Ganesh Moorthy of National Engineering College, Circuit Debugging won by Mohamed Shameem of PET engineering College, Technical Quiz won by Sanchith & SriGanesh of MEPCO Schlenk Engineering College, Connection won by Tivursious Xavier Akash, Kalai Mani & Ramkumar of VV College of Engineering, Poster Designing won by Ashika Barveen of Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli, ADZAP by Jeba Mathew of Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli, Meme Creation won by Mohamed Umar of PET Engineering College. The event was arranged by the faculty members of the EEE department.
