3 Days Training on Full Stack Web Development (MERN Stack) Hackwit Technologies Pvt. Ltd.,

Ideation Lab in FXEC explores to bring out the creativity, innovation and skills of the students through their Ideas and foster them to get along with futuristic technologies. Web apps Lab envisions to enhance the business growth of the students with creative Design and Development and deliver market-defining high-quality solutions that creates value and consistent competitive advantage for our clients around the world. The Ideation Lab and Web Apps Applied Lab of Francis Xavier Engineering College had jointly organized 3 days Hands-on training programme on Full Stack Web Development (MERN Stack) from 2.08.2023 to 4.08.2023 in association with Hackwitt Technologies, Chennai. Er.S.Ravikumar CEO cum Technical Expert, Hackwit Technologies imparted training in Full Stack Web Development. In continuation to the workshop, WebAppathon – an online 48 hours Hackathon on web application development was organized jointly by Ideation lab and Webapps lab powered by Hackwit Technologies. The Webappathon was hosted on 4.08.2023 at 4.00 pm. Er.S.Ravikumar launched the Hackathon in three domains – Healthcare, Edutech and Ecommerce. The rules and procedures were deliberated to students. 15 team of students actively participated in the event and submitted the problem statement and solution. With tracking of project development and mentoring, the students submitted their work in the repository. 9 teams were shortlisted for Finale after scrutiny of submitted works. The finale was organized on 7th August at 3.00 pm via online. The participants showcased their projects, development codes and presentations. The Hackwit team evaluated the projects based on the problem description, uniqueness/novelty of the idea, outcome and presentation. Ms.Gayathri , Ms.Geetha and Mariammal of CSE (Ethnic coders) developed their innovative application in Edutech domain and were the winners and they were honoured with cash award and shield. Mr.Karsten Solomon Raj , Mr.Pinto Raj and Mr.Moses of CSE (React Team) were the runners . Ms.Gaviya, Ms.Afrin and Abhila Gracelina Team (CSE) and L.M.Kishore , Praveen C (IT)and vishal kumar(CSBS) Team were awarded Second Runner up. The Winners were honoured by Mrs.Augusti Marys Priyadarshini, Correspondent, SCAD group of Institutions, Mr.S.Krishna Kumar GM (A), Dr.K.Jeyakumar GM(D), and Principal Dr.V.Velmurugan and Dr.L.R Priya (Prof.Academics). The programme was organized by Dr.T.C.Subbu Lakshmi, Asso.Prof , DoIT, Tech Lead Ideation Lab FXEC & Ms.Agnes Joshy , AP(IT) Tech Lead - Web apps Lab along with Dr.K.Lakshmi Narayanan Applied Lab Vertical Head with the guidance from Mr.S.Krishna Kumar GM (A) & Director Applied Lab. The team extends thanks to FXEC Core team and verticals team and Heads of MCA, CSE, IT, CSBS, & EEE for providing encouragement and support in organizing the programme.
