On 21.01.2026 an alumni interaction was conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The Session was handled By Ms. Dharshini, Founder , Infosmite Edutech LLP, Tirunelveli from11.00AM-12.00PM.61students and 1faculties participated. This event was coordinated by Ms.A.Suba AP/CSE.
The program started with the welcome address byMs.A.Suba AP/CSE ,Francis Xavier Engineering College. The Guest speaker commenced with the talk ."Alumni Interaction: AI IN REAL WORLD APPLICATIONS" It was an inspiring session where former students, shared her idea about industry projects, demonstrating how machine learning models are trained using large datasets, deployed in cloud platforms, and monitored for accuracy and performance. Tools such as Python, TensorFlow, Power BI, cloud services, and automation platforms were discussed. The importance of data quality, cybersecurity, ethical AI, and responsible usage of technology was also highlighted. Students were encouraged to work on mini-projects, participate in hackathons, complete online certifications, and build strong portfolios. Internship opportunities and industry expectations for fresh graduates were also discussed.
Overall, the alumni event was a resounding success, marked by meaningful exchanges, shared experiences, and the strengthening of our community bonds. The feedback received from both alumni and students has been overwhelmingly positive, reflecting the event's impact in inspiring our students and providing them with practical insights and encouragement as they navigate their academic and professional paths.
