On 8.4.2024 a session on " Entrepreneurship: An inevitable choice for Engineering graduates " was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of AI&DS. The session was handled by the resource person, Mr. Winson IV CSE ,FXEC ,Francis Xavier Engineering College. Sixty students from second year AI&DS and 1 faculty of AI&DS department participated in the program. The program was coordinated by Mrs.P.Sooriabrabha, Assistant Professor,Department of AI&DS from 9.00AM –12.30PM.
The program started with the introduction of guest speaker Mr. Winson IV CSE, FXEC by Mrs.P.Sooriabrabha. The resource person discussed about entrepreneurship which has emerged as an inevitable choice for engineering graduates. Armed with a diverse skill set encompassing problem-solving, analytical thinking and innovative process, engineering graduates are well-positioned to identify market gaps and create disruptive solutions. Moreover, the rapidly evolving technology sector offers fertile ground for entrepreneurial ventures, where the fusion of engineering expertise with entrepreneurial acumen can lead to ground breaking innovations and scalable businesses. Embracing entrepreneurship not only empowers engineering graduates to chart their own career trajectory but also fosters a culture of innovation, driving societal progress and economic growth. Thus, for many engineering graduates, entrepreneurship represents not just a choice, but a natural pathway towards realizing their full potential and making a meaningful impact. In the end of the session the students gave their feedback.
