ARCHIE FEST’23

Department of CIVIL Engineering organized National level technical symposium “ARCHIE FEST’23” on 19th April 2023. Ms. Sneha Varshini S, II Civil delivered the welcome address. Dr. V.Velmurugan, Principal, FXEC facilitated the event. Ms. Abinaya B IV Civil introduced the chief guest. The symposium got off with an inaugural session with the chief guest address by Mr. N. P Albert Raja, Assistant planner at Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority & Chennai Unified Metropolitan transport authority. The chief guest appreciated the efforts made on symposium and being an alumni of FXEC he shared few words about the college and the department. He encouraged students to become an entrepreneur and also shared his view in various fields of Civil Engineering and the wide job opportunities provided for civil engineers in the outside world. He motivated the students to secure government jobs. Around 70 students from various colleges in and around Tamil Nadu participated in the symposium. 5 technical and 8 non technical events were conducted for examining the stability of students. The winners of the event were honoured with exciting cash prizes. The program came to an end with a vote of thanks by Ms. Manju S, IV Civil. The event was conducted under the leadership of Mr. Samuel Prabaharan J, Hod/Civil and with the help of all the faculties of Civil Engineering. The event was coordinated by Mr. Sumil Kumaran A,AP/Civil & Mrs. Swetha S, AP/Civil.
