Awareness on the Process on Innovation and Product Development

On 1.4.2022 the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science organised “Awareness on the process of innovation and product development” in association with Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC for the first year B.Tech Artificial intelligence and Data Science students. Resource persons were Ms P.Vimala III year IT and Ms. S. Sooriyapriya III year CSE. Both of them are involved in the innovation and Product development process in the Data Science incubation Centre. Both the guest speakers explained the various stages in the process of product development namely idea generation, product definition, prototyping, initial design, validation and testing and commercialisation. As the speakers are involved in the product development, they explained the process of product development with their personal experience and the products developed by them. The participants raised lot of questions to the speakers and clarified their doubts. In fact, it was an enriching experience to all the participants. Dr. A.
