On 30.07.2024 event on Celebrating JRD Tata: A Legacy of Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Management Studies department and IIC through offline mode from 3:00 pm to 4.30 pm. The session was Coordinated by Dr.V.M.Sangeetha, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, Francis Xavier Engineering College, Vannarpettai The event was handled by Aarthi Subha M and Ponmahalakshmi ,students of II Year MBA.
The event started with the brief introduction of Jehangir Ratanji Dadabhoy prominent Indian industrialist and chairman of Tata Group, India's largest industrial conglomerate. Aarthi Subha M student of II MBA, highlighted his achievement as a business tycoon. Quiz competition was conducted and students of all departments were encouraged to participate in the event and prizes were distributed. The quiz contest was about JRD Tata and his entrepreneurial success journey.
The students were asked to pick a lot from the bowl and to answer for the question written in the lot about JRD Tata. Prizes were distributed for the correct answers. Many students voluntarily participated and won prizes in the event. Though it is a short period event, it will be a great time to know about JRD Tata and his success in the entrepreneurial journey.
