The CodeCatalyst – Hackathon Challenge was successfully conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering –Leader of the Week Association Activity, on 27 January 2026 from 10:55 AM to 11:45 AM. The event was organized for the III Year CSE – B section students with the aim of enhancing their problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and coding proficiency through a competitive and time-bound platform.
The event was coordinated by Ms. S. Arunadevi, Assistant Professor, CSE, whose effective planning and organization ensured the smooth conduct of the hackathon. The contest was designed to encourage students to apply their programming knowledge to solve real-time problem statements efficiently, thereby promoting analytical thinking, creativity, and technical confidence.
Students participated enthusiastically and demonstrated a high level of interest and involvement throughout the event. Their performance reflected strong conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, and coding efficiency. The hackathon was evaluated by Ms. Grace Nivitha, Assistant Professor, CSBS, who assessed the participants based on problem understanding, solution approach, accuracy, and execution.
