On 29.12.2023 a talk on " Cultivating Creativity and Business Acumen the Key for Entrepreneurship" was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The session was handled by Mrs. M. Subashini, Assistant Professor, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Francis Xavier Engineering College from 01.30 PM – 4.30 PM. 43 students and 2 faculties participated. This event was coordinated by Mrs. M. Mary Sumitha AP/EEE.
The program started with the welcome address by Mrs. M. Mary Sumitha, Assistant Professor, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Francis Xavier Engineering College. The resource person explained the significance of Creativity and Business Acumen. She highlighted some successful entrepreneurs like Elon mask, Steve jobs, R. G. Chandramogan etc. She said that for the successful running of the business the entrepreneur must use creativity and innovation. She also highlighted developing a strong business plan, networking and collaboration. She talked about the risk-taking and resilience, market shifts adaptability, developing a growth mindset and analysing failures objectively which can help the entrepreneur to move to the next level.
