The webinar on the topic Cyber Security Challenges during COVID-19was streamed through Youtube. The resource person for was Dr.C.Emilin Shyni, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, East Point College of Engineering and Technology, Bangalore. The programme was started with the Prayer, Welcome address and Introduction of the resource person. There were around 386 participants registered for the webinar from all over the world. The resource person gave an introduction about Risk of Cyber Attacks. She taught about Survey on Fake websites, COVID-19 Cyber Attacks Examples, Phishing and its types, Malware Attacks, EventBot, Targeted Applications of EventBot, EventBot-Threat Analysis,Cerberus-COVID-19,Remote Access Trojan functionalities, Ransomeware-COVID-19 and its types,Major targets of Ransomeware attacks,How to protect from Ransomeware?,The Work From Home Loophole for Cyber Security Threat,Basic Do’s and Don’t of expanding security and Cyber Security Tools. Mrs.M.Sharon Nisha gave the vote of thanks. The programme was Organised by Dr.G.Aravind Swaminathan and Mrs.M.Sharon Nisha with the guidance of Dr. Jeyakumar, General Manager Development, SCAD Group, Mr. Krishnakumar, Alumni Director and Prof. P. Brundha, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
