With a view to create awareness on Cleanliness, All India Council for Technical Education in association with Swachhata Pakhwada 2020 conducted a number of activities during January 2020.
In accordance with this, Department of English of Francis Xavier Engineering College, Tirunelveli, conducted a Talk Show on 23.01.2020 (Thursday) at 3.00 PM in the English Language Lab. A Five-minute talk was delivered on topics like Personal, Physical, Emotional, Environmental and Societal Cleanliness.
The event started with a welcome address by Ms. F. Jeslin, II CSE A. After the coordinator's introductory talk, Ms. A. Beaulah Gifta, II ECE delivered a talk on Personal Cleanliness focusing on self disciplined cleanliness for building a clean nation.
Ms. V. Divya Jegasakthi of ECE talked on Physical Hygiene & Cleanliness highlighting the responsibility of budding engineers to educate the rural kids on Personal Hygiene.
Ms. M. Divyalakshmi of II EEE spoke on the need to keep the soul and mind clean so as to exert positivity under the topic Emotional Cleanliness.
Ms. P. Chelsia Jeya Dharani , II EEE highlighted the need for recycling and the disposal of waste in a proper way as the need of the hour so as to maintain Environmental Cleanliness.
Ms. J. Fatima Kingsy Shibani, II ECE swept the audience with thoughts about Societal Cleanliness focusing on working as one body and soul to create social harmony and peace with brotherhood.
The Event wound up with the thankful note by Ms. U.S. Vidya, II EEE.
