Developing Innovative Prototypes using AI Tools

On 13.08.2024 a session on "Developing Innovative Prototypes using AI Tools” was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of AI&DS. The session was handled by Dr.D.Stalin David Associate Professor Department of AI&DS , Francis Xavier Engineering College. Forty eight students from second year AI&DS and 1 faculty of AI&DS department participated in the program. The program was coordinated by Mrs.P.Sooriabrabha, Assistant Professor, Department of AI&DS from 9.00AM – 12.30PM.

The program started with the introduction of the guest speaker by by the EDC Coordinator Mrs.P.Sooriabrabha. During this session the guest speaker discussed the development of innovative prototypes using AI tools has revolutionized the design and engineering processes, enabling rapid and efficient creation of cutting-edge solutions. By leveraging AI technologies such as machine learning algorithms, generative design, and simulation tools, engineers and designers can explore a vast range of possibilities, optimize performance, and reduce development time. AI-driven insights facilitate the identification of novel materials and design configurations, while predictive analytics help in anticipating potential issues before physical prototypes are built. This integration not only accelerates innovation but also enhances the precision and functionality of prototypes, leading to more effective and cost-efficient product development across various industries. Through this program, participants showed keen interest in the concepts, methodologies and gave satisfactory feedback at the end of the session. The participants interacted with the resource person and gathered lot of information about developing the innovative products which can be used for developing the startup.
