Discussion on Developing a Startup

On 10.08.2024 Discussion on “Developing a Startup” was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Management Studies department and IIC through offline mode. The session was handled by Ms.Aji Sebasta, Founder of Aran Events and Alumni Batch 2022-2024 from 09.30 AM- 12.30 PM. 40 students and two faculties participated in the program.

The program started with the welcome address by Ms. Aarthi Subha second year MBA. She started the session by posting a question that how many students interested to become entrepreneurs. Few students raised and conveyed their area of interest in entrepreneurship. Then the resource person continued her session by conveying how she got into the idea of event management. She shared her experience and challenges she faced. The resource person listed out few points that an entrepreneur should follow in their journey. Guest speaker said that entrepreneur should have patience and guide the team properly, work as a team player for the success business. She shared marketing strategies of her event management and advised students regarding investment and asked student to have optimum short and long term investment plan. She gave useful insights in the program. By sharing real-world examples and practical advice, the program equipped the participants with the knowledge needed to effectively use the ecosystem. It was very much useful for everyone especially who wants to become an entrepreneur. The interaction between the guest speaker and the participants helped the participants to gather lot of information.
