On 30th June 2022 FX Entrepreneurship Development Cell in association with Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a discussion with “Robotics and Automation Incubation Product Developers". Dr. A. Ravi, Professor/EEE, FXEC, interacted with the students.
The guest speaker explained Robotics and the application of Robotics for the automation. He displayed the products developed in the Robotics and Automation incubation centre. He showed the example of a bot which count and display the pressure cooker’s whistle count and display on the LED screen in it. He also explained the programming software and platform which is behind the invention. The speaker explained the Lab view software and Proteus software where it can be used to write the coding.
He also explained other products like cleaning Robot and the upcoming products like obstacle detecting vehicle etc., He insisted the students about the importance of getting patent rights by filing the patents
The interaction with the participants aimed at enlighten the spirit of the students to develop their own products using the Robotics for the automation. He shared the details about most important key technologies which can be used to develop innovative products.
This event was conducted through offline mode in the Robotics and Automation Incubation Centre and the event was coordinated by Ms.M.Krithika AP/EEE and Mr.N.V.Selvam, AP/EEE. The students interacted with Dr.Ravi and he explained all the queries with lot of examples. It was interesting and informative which created an inspiration among the participants to involve them in the product development. 31 students and 2 staff members participated in the program.
