Discussion with Startup Founder

On, 29th October 2022 a “Discussion with Startup Founder” was organized by the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in association with Entrepreneurship Development Cell @1.30 p.m. Dr. Lourdes Poobala Rayen,,Director, EDC and IIC President delivered welcome address and introduced the startup founder .Er. Nanusamy, Managing Director, Maxelerator Foundation, Madurai. Dr A. Anitha HOD/AI&DS Francis Xavier Engineering College coordinated the program. 56 students and 6 staff members participated in the program. Er. Nanusamy, Managing Director, Maxelerator Foundation explained the need for developing startup. He highlighted his personal experiences as the startup founder. He explained the process of developing the startup and the government support for developing the startup.

Dr. Karthick, Director of Academic Research, Maxelerator Foundation, Madurai also interacted with the students and highlighted the process of innovation and the need to use the innovations build startups. In addition to this he gave lot of examples from the Indian startups. Students also raised lot of questions about the risk involved in developing startup. Students asked about the steps to be taken to overcome the startup failures. This program was coordinated by Mrs.P.Sooriabrabha , EDC Co-coordinator of AI&DS Department.
