Discussion with Student Entrepreneur

On 24th September, 2022 a “Discussion with Student Entrepreneur” was organized by Entrepreneurship Development Cell & Institution’s Innovation Council in association with the Department of Mechanical Engineering at 9:30 am to 12.30 pm. Dr.R.K.A.Bhalaji, AP/Mech coordinated the program. Mr.S.M.K.Sri Chanthru, Student Entrepreneur, Second Year Mechanical Engineering, FXEC was the resource person. 40 students and 1 staff member participated in the program. The discussion started with the introduction of his personal business and the experience as an entrepreneur. He explained the characteristics of entrepreneurs such as risk taker, imaginative, goal setter, hardworking & self-confidence etc. He also highlighted the skills needed for entrepreneur to manage and succeed in his venture. In addition to this, he shared the the obstacles faced by an entrepreneur in the emerging world and also he revealed the new business opportunities for students. The resource person highlighted the determination one must have and the efforts needs to be taken to strengthen the business venture.
