On 21/06/2023, a guest lecture titled "Embrace Your Future: Empowering Students for Placement Success" was delivered to the IV year students of IT department. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Sivasubramanian, an esteemed Data Engineering Leader at Cisco, with an extensive experience of 11 years in the field. Mr. Sivasubramanian is also the best outgoing student of IT department in the year 2011 and a part-time professor at Great Lakes Institute of Management for Data Science. The objective of the lecture was to motivate and inspire the students to excel in their placement preparations and equip them with valuable insights and guidance for their future career endeavors. Dr.T.C Subbulakshmi commenced the lecture by introducing the guest speaker, providing an overview of professional journey, and emphasizing the importance of effective placement preparation.
