Seminar on Emerging Trends and Challenges in Entrepreneurship

On 25.8.2022 the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and Institution lnnovation Council in association with the Department of Computer Applications on the topic "Emerging Trends and Challenges in Entrepreneurship”. Mr. R.Albert Paulin Michael, Assistant Professor, MCA, delivered the guest lecture from 3.00 pm - 4.00 pm. The Seminar was organized for MCA students. The guest speaker explained the emerging trends in entrepreneurship and the challenges faced by the entrepreneurs. While explaining the new trends in entrepreneurship the speaker gave lot of examples for the new emerging opportunities in the field of information technology and in the emerging areas of industry 4.0. The speaker also explained the Entrepreneurial opportunities emerging from work from home and hybrid work, Mobile optimization, Increased diversity in the workforce, Niche market service, the rise of the gig economy, long-term cash planning, Subscription-based businesses etc.

He also highlighted the challenges in Entrepreneurship like Maintaining a budget, Sustaining revenue, Managing employees, Managing time etc. 50 students and 2 faculty members participated actively in the session. All the students were benefited by the seminar. The interaction between the students and the resource person was highly motivated. Feedback was obtained from the participants.
