On 03.03.2025 a session on “Empowering Indian Youth: Global Leaders in Science & Innovation” was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering to commemorate the National Science Day. This session was handled by Dr. V. Krishnaveni, Assistant Professor, Department of English, FXEC. Forty four students from first year CSE D and 1 faculty participated in the program. The program was coordinated by Ms. M. Keerthana, Assistant Professor, Department of English, CSE from 9.30AM to 12.30PM.

The program started with the introduction of the guest speaker. The resource person highlighted the significance of scientific advancements and the role of young minds in shaping the future. The speaker emphasized the need for students to develop scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to contribute to global scientific progress.

The resource person also discussed various government initiatives and programs designed to support young innovators in India. Real-life success stories of Indian youth excelling in global scientific fields were shared, inspiring students to pursue careers in science and technology. The seminar also included an interactive Q&A session, where students enthusiastically engaged with the speaker, seeking guidance on research opportunities and career paths in scientific fields.

In conclusion, the seminar was highly informative and motivating, leaving students with a deep understanding of their role in scientific advancements. The resource person stressed the importance of interdisciplinary learning, collaboration, and adaptability in the ever-evolving field of science and technology. Through this program, participants showed keen interest in applying design thinking as a key to develop innovative products which would pave the way for entrepreneurship and gave satisfactory feedback at the end of the session.
