On 27.04.2023 a session on Entrepreneurial Creativity - "An Ability to Develop New Ideas and Solutions to Problems" was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of MBA. The session was handled by Mr.Sadayappan Subramanian, Co-Founder – My Fundz, Tirunelveli. 58 students from first year MBA and 1 faculty of MBA department participated in the program. The program was coordinated by Mr. P. Selvakumar, EDC Coordinator, Assistant professor - MBA, Francis Xavier Engineering College from 10.00AM - 12.30 PM.
The guest speaker explained about the growing business opportunities in entrepreneurship with creative ideas in the current world especially for young business studies students. People who are good at taking insights derived from each type of creativity excel at thinking outside the box and applying new approaches to their work.
The speaker gave lot of live examples to explain the concept and the growth associated with creativity and innovation. The speaker raised few questions as the participants were from management department. This initiated a discussion among the participants and they raised few questions to clarify their doubts. Some students asked questions about the startup opportunities which was addressed by the speaker. In fact, the question answer session after the speech gave an insight about the opportunities for developing startups also.
