On 09.05.2025 a session on “Entrepreneurial Opportunities for a Viable Startup” was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and Institution’s Innovation Council in association with Information Technology department. The session was handled by Mrs.T.Nancy Lydia, Assistant Professor, Department of Information Technology, Francis Xavier Engineering College. 60 II B IT students and 2 faculties participated in the program. This event was coordinated by Mr. F. Richard Singh Samuel, Assistant Professor, Department of IT, Francis Xavier Engineering College.

The speaker led students through ideation activities, encouraging them to brainstorm startup ideas by combining market research, personal insight, and critical thinking. They assessed the viability of their ideas using tools like SWOT analysis and problem-solution mapping.

Case studies of successful entrepreneurs illustrated how innovative startups often emerge from everyday observations and frustrations, emphasizing the importance of staying alert to the world around them.
