Entrepreneurial Opportunities in Construction Industry

On 24th of August 2022 a guest lecture was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and Institution’s Innovation Council in association with Civil Engineering Department. The speaker was our alumni who is also a proprietor of Bethel Builders, Tirunelveli. He spoke on “Entrepreneurial Opportunities in Construction Industry”.

The guest speaker being an alumni entrepreneur, shared his personal experiences and the hardships he has crossed in the initial stages of his business journey. He gave a brief note on the various entrepreneurial opportunities available in the construction field with examples form his own personal experiences. He also explained about the importance of gaining practical knowledge before entering into entrepreneurial activities. He also gave a note on zero and minimal investment business opportunities for civil engineers. The participants were inspired by his experience and practical approach. 40 Civil Engineering students & 2 staff members from the department of civil engineering participated in the programme.
