Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute, Chennai in association with Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Management Studies and IIC, FXEC organized a session on Entrepreneurship Development Training Programme for TNULM (Tamil Nadu Urban Livelihood Mission) Beneficiaries from 18.9.2024 to 20.9.2024 through offline mode from 10.00 AM- 05.30 PM. A total of 50 participants attended the session. The Entrepreneurship Development Programme for TNULM (Tamil Nadu Urban Livelihood Mission) Beneficiaries commenced on 18th September 2024. The event started with a Welcome Address by Mr. R. Palavesam, District Coordinator, EDII-TN, Tenkasi. He introduced the objectives of the programme and emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship for social and economic development in urban regions. Following this, Mr. J. Joseph Saleth Arockiasamy, Assistant Project Officer, TNULM, Tirunelveli, addressed the gathering. He provided an insightful overview of the TNULM Schemes and its Activities, explaining how the mission aims to enhance urban livelihoods and support micro-entrepreneurship. Dr. Lourdes Poobala Rayen, IIC President and EDC Director of FXEC delivered a special Address on entrepreneurial activities within the Tirunelveli region and highlighted the significance of fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and how the Tirunelveli region has made notable strides in this regard. The core session was led by Dr. A.A. Mohammed Faizal, Trainer, EDII-TN. He conducted a detailed session on SWOT Analysis, exploring the importance of identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in business planning. He also focused on Entrepreneurship Skills and Opportunities, helping participants understand the critical competencies needed for success. The session included interactive activities that engaged the participants and facilitated their learning.
