On 14th September 2022 Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Master of Business Administration organized an expert talk on “Entrepreneurial Ecosystem: A Gateway for Business Opportunities” at MBA Department Seminar Hall. The Session was handled by Mr.R.Albert Paulin Michael, Assistant Professor, MCA Department, Francis Xavier Engineering College from 9.30AM – 12.30 PM.
Mr.P.Selvakumar Asst.Prof./MBA and the EDC Coordinator of MBA welcomed the resource person and gave an outline of the topic to be discussed. The speaker gave a brief introduction on Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. He stated that Tamilnadu has an eco-system that is conducive for industry and businesses and the state is rife with investment opportunities in sectors like Automobiles, IT, Electronics, Hardware, Infrastructure, Energy, Environment, Banking, Health, Food Processing etc. He explained the concept of Business to Business (B2B), B2C and gave the details about the various models and the opportunities to the persons who are having interest in entrepreneurship.
He gave lot of suggestions and the business opportunities to the participants and motivated the participants to become entrepreneurs rather than working under someone. The participants being the Management students he stressed the need and importance of becoming an entrepreneur. The session was highly informative and thought provoking and all the students benefitted through the session. The session came to an end with positive feedbacks from audience. 48 students and 4 staff members participated in the program.
