On 05.08.2024 Expert talk on "Entrepreneurial Journey and Service Marketing "was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Management Studies department and IIC. The session was handled by Mr. Hari Haran Founder and CEO of Spacezee Technology from 09.30 AM- 12.30 PM. 40 students and one faculty participated in the program.

The program started with the welcome address by Ms. Sakthipriya second year MBA and then the Chief guest introduction was done by Ms. Sivasakthi second year MBA. The resource person started his session by highlighting the importance of marketing and his journey as an entrepreneur and shared his experience in the industry. He explained about the transformation of ideation into business. He explained about startup and challenges he faced during his journey of business. Then he continued the session by explaining marketing strategy of comparative mindset and how it works in the industry and he also gave a live example for the strategy. He explained how color psychology is used as a marketing strategy in the restaurants and fine diners and how it helps to attract the customers towards their business and the importance of color analysis plays a role in the ambience of the restaurants.

He continued the session by explaining the strategy of gorilla marketing by giving an example of stating how various brands like kit kat and red bull use this gorilla marketing. He further explained the strategy of how emotions works in marketing with an example of Nike strategy. He explained the emotional strategy in marketing in depth by explaining the FMCG products and how it works and address all the category of consumers.

After the tea break session, the resource person gave an activity to students by dividing them into groups and asked to design a startup with name and then motivate students to propose suitable marketing strategy for a particular brand and product. Students were excited and each team came out with interesting competitive analysis. Finally, the resource person concluded the session by appreciating students for their active involvement an interest towards the session. The program was ended with students’ feedback and Vote of thanks.
