Expert Talk on Innovation Ecosystem for Entrepreneurship

On 15th November, 2022 the Entrepreneurship Development Cell & Institution’s Innovation Council in association with the Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an expert talk on “Innovation Ecosystem for Entrepreneurship” from 9:00 am to 12.30 pm. Mr.T.M.Mohamed Usman, HOD/Civil & IIC President, PET Engineering College, Tirunelveli was the resource person. The program was coordinated by Dr.R.K.A.Bhalaji, AP/Mech. 40 students and 1 staff member participated in the program.

The resource person explained the meaning of innovation ecosystem and the entrepreneurial opportunities which emerges out of the innovation ecosystem. While explaining the innovation ecosystem he gave lot of examples. The innovation ecosystem gives lot of opportunities for the stake holders of this ecosystem. Regarding innovative ecosystem the resource person said that modern ecosystem includes designers, software developers, consultants, financiers etc. Additionally, he revealed the flowchart for innovation ecosystem and also described the prerequisites for successful innovation communities. This innovation ecosystem elements such as research, development, design & produce will pave the way for the entrepreneurship. Finally he explained the role of innovation in entrepreneurship such as persistent improvement, reinforcing the brand, making the best of the existing product and also revealed the DNA of innovation ecosystem entrepreneurship. The participants interacted with the resource person and gained lot of insights about the topic.
