On 26.4.2023 a session on “Procedures for Developing Startup” was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of AI&DS. The session was handled by Mr. P.Selvakumar AP/MBA ,FXEC an experienced entrepreneur and business consultant . 52 students from first year AI&DS and 1 faculty of AI&DS department participated in the program. The program was coordinated by Mrs.P.Sooriabrabha, Assistant professor, Department of AI&DS from 2.00.AM - 4.00PM.
The main objective of the program was to provide a comprehensive overview of the essential procedures and steps that need to be followed in order to establish and develop a successful startup. The resource person also stated that first and most important step in developing a startup is conducting thorough market research to identify the gap in the market. It is important to understand the market demand, competition, and potential customer base: The second step in developing a startup is conducting thorough market research. It is important to understand the market demand, competition, and potential customer base The third step in developing a startup is to secure the necessary funding and resources. This could be in the form of loans, investment from venture capitalists, or crowd funding. Finally, developing a startup is to focus on product development.
Resource person suggested that entrepreneurs should create a minimum viable product (MVP) that can be tested and refined based on customer feedback. The workshop provided valuable insights and practical tips on the essential procedures and steps that need to be followed in order to establish and develop a successful startup. Resource person discussed clearly the importance of market research, business planning, funding, team building, and product development. The participants found the session informative and insightful and expressed their gratitude to resource person for sharing his valuable experience and knowledge. In the end of session students gave feedback and got the certificate for attending the session issued by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell.
