Exposure Visit to AK-INFO Park- A Technology Product Development Centre

On 9.6.2022 the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in association with Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC organised an “Exposure Visit to AK- INFO Park- A Technology Product Development Centre” functioning in Nagercoil for first year Artificial Intelligence and Data Science students. General instructions were given by the HR Mr.Shajin explaining the major activities of the concern.

In the first session the software developer Ms.Karthika explained about the organisation structure, work culture, career opportunities and employee benefits. The next session was handled by Mr.Godwin, the software developer. He explained about Software development life cycle concepts, tool used by Data Scientist, Tester, System Engineer Server Engineer Ui/Ux designer and languages used by full stack developer, Back end developers front end developers, mobile application developer. Students raised lot of questions and clarified all their doubts. The interaction between the students and the software developers was highly useful and it was the eye opener for all the students visited the concern. Thus, the visit gave an opportunity for all the students to familiarize themselves about the software development process, the various roles in the software development. This visit was arranged by Dr.A.Anitha Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Mrs. P. Sooriabrabha, AP/AI&DS and Mrs.S.Poornam AP/AI&DS were the Coordinators for this visit.
