On 03.03.2023, the first year and second year students of Information Technology, Francis Xavier Engineering College, visited the NABARD Madurai Agri Business Incubation Forum (MABIF), Madurai. 96 students and three faculty members along with the H.O.D of the department visited the incubation centre.

MABIF is an initiative of NABARD & Tamil Nadu Agricultural University to promote Agribusiness in the southern region of Tamilnadu. MABIF propose to extend the wings of its agribusiness development catchment around Tamilnadu that could effectively create rural transformation points of 75 km circumference that are administratively controllable. The Incubation Forum had a team of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated professionals to provide state of the agricultural enhancement and give a such worthful service to the society. Students visited all their incubation unit and gathered lot of information about the technology used in the agriculture development. The students interacted with the employees working in the unit and gathered information regarding the latest development in agriculture development.

The session was an interactive one where the students were very much participative in order to gather the innovative methodologies adopted in agriculture development. The students who are doing some business activities interacted very seriously and gathered more information from the centre officials. The employees working in the centre shared their experience with the students. They also suggested few with useful ideas to conserve the agriculture in the current scenario. On the whole, the students gained many interesting as well as useful information regarding agriculture which is worth helping us in future and we had immense experience visiting MABIF.
