On 31th May, 2022 a “Exposure visit to Robotics & Automation Incubation Centre” was organized by Entrepreneurship Development Cell & Institution’s Innovation Council in association with the Department of Mechanical Engineering at 11:30 to 12.30 pm. Dr.A.Ravi, Professor/EEE, Robotics & Automation Incubation Centre, FXEC was the resource person. The program was held via offline mode. Dr.R.K.A.Bhalaji, AP/Mech co-ordinated the programme.
Dr.A.Ravi, Professor/EEE, Robotics & Automation Incubation Centre, gave an outline about the Robotics and Automation Incubation Centre. He explained the innovation activities undertaken through the Incubation Centre. He said that from first year to fourth year students are involved in the product development activities. He also demonstrated few innovative products developed through the incubation Centre. The resource person shared lot of new ideas about robotics & automation with the help of Lab view and Tinker CADD software. Additionally, he showed some innovative products such as weeding robot, stair case robot and fire-fighting robot. It will be helpful for our students to understand about how to make the robot using the concept of Robot Operating System (ROS) & embedded controller. The entire incubation centre is automated and controlled through mobile phones (Automation Software).
