Field Visit to Deva Home for Intellectually Differently Abled, Moondradaippu.

The field visit or field trip is an educational procedure by which each student gains information by observing the places, natural events and real – life information. FXEC the Department of English arranged a field visit to Deva Home For Intellectually Differently Abled, Moontradaippu, Tirunelveli for the II year IT and Civil students for the course Ethics and Moral Values on 04.05.2023. The field visit was arranged under the guidance of the course coordinator Mrs. Shala F John, AP/Eng. Our students provided lunch and snacks to the intellectually differently abled persons and also interacted with them during the visit. They were happy after receiving the gifts from our students. This trip will make them visit more NGO’s and help the needy people. The objective of the field visit is to reinforce experiential and contextual learning. It helps the students to understand how the underprivileged like orphans, physically disabled and mentally retarded live in their communities and how they interact with others. It also helps them to learn how to provide services that will meet the needs of each individual person. The field visit was arranged by the course instructors Mrs. V. Krishnaveni, AP/Eng and Ms. Thamizh Paavai, AP/Eng and Dr. Suman, ASP/Chemistry and Mr. Vivek, AP/Civil accompanied the students.
